'Kio' (5 bulbs)

Planted these bulbs in a sunny spot and within weeks had stunning gladioli stalks that lasted ages in a vase. The five bulbs produced plenty of blooms, and the color was exactly as shown.

I planted these in late spring and the first bulb sent up a shoot within two weeks. The color is a rich, velvety pink that really stands out against the greenery. Exactly what I was hoping for.

The stems came up strong and straight, and the cut flowers lasted over a week in a vase with zero drooping. That's exactly the kind of staying power I was hoping for from a gladiolus variety with this much history behind it.
