The red skin on these Desiree tubers is really striking, and they’ve handled a dry spell in my garden without any wilting. I’m already seeing strong, healthy shoots after just a couple of weeks.

The red skin on these Desiree tubers is gorgeous, so smooth it almost looks waxed, and the pale yellow flesh inside cooked up fluffy and firm for us. Even with our sandy soil and a dry June, they still pushed out those big oval spuds we were hoping for.

Every single seed potato came up, and by late summer I was digging up these huge red-skinned tubers that held together beautifully in a roast. We had a dry spell in July and they barely seemed bothered, which says a lot for a variety I'd never grown before.
