The seeds sprouted quickly and every single one germinated. I’m already seeing which seedlings will be the strongest for saving my own seed next year, just like the donor described.

I've been growing these for two seasons now, and the melons from the saved seed are noticeably sweeter than any store-bought rockmelon. Knowing this strain has been hand-selected for 50 years gives me confidence in the genetics.

Three weeks after planting, every seed sprouted and the vines are loaded with fruit already. The fact that this strain has been hand-selected for sweetness over 50 years really shows in the quality.
