كرنب 'سكارليت'

The frilly purple leaves are absolutely stunning in the garden, and the color really deepens after a light frost. I’ve been picking the young leaves for salads and they add a beautiful, slightly peppery bite.

Planted these in late summer and the color deepened beautifully after our first frost. The leaves have a lovely frilly texture and add a nice crunch to salads. Really happy with how ornamental and tasty they turned out.

The frilly leaves are even more striking once the first frost hits, the purple deepens so much it looks almost painted. I’ve been snipping them young for salads and they’re tender enough to eat straight from the garden.
