The tight frilly leaves held up beautifully through both a chilly snap and a scorching week, and they still tasted mild and fresh. I’ve picked it steadily for a month now, and it keeps sending out new growth without bolting.

Even through our record heatwave this summer these kale plants kept producing tender, frilly blue-green leaves without a hint of bitterness. I’ve never had a brassica hold up so well in the heat. Definitely planting these again next season.
