These seeds germinated quickly and the resulting beets had that sweet, mild flavor chefs talk about. The golden color really stands out in a salad compared to standard red beets, which was a nice surprise.

These golden beets have such a mild, sweet taste that even my kids asked for seconds. I roasted them and the color stayed a beautiful sunny yellow, not a hint of bleeding.

I was surprised by how sweet these golden beets are when roasted — much milder than the standard red ones. The beautiful orange color held up after cooking, which made for a gorgeous salad. Definitely a unique variety I’ll be planting again.
