캘리포니아 양귀비 'Poppy Orange'

These seeds sprouted quickly even in my rocky, south-facing bed where everything else struggles. The grey foliage is surprisingly tough, and that vivid orange flower really pops against it.

Planted these in a sunny, bone-dry patch where everything else crisps up, and they’re still pumping out those vivid orange blooms weeks later. The open flowers are true to the picture—almost neon against the tough grey leaves, and they don’t flinch even when I forget to water.

The grey foliage really makes the orange pop, and I was amazed how well they kept blooming even during our two-week heatwave. This is exactly what I needed for my rocky, south-facing garden bed.
