I was blown away by how productive these plants were—we easily got over 10 kilos from just a few vines. The firm flesh held up perfectly when I stuffed them with herbed rice, and the stripe pattern made for a gorgeous presentation.

The pink-and-yellow stripes are even more vivid in person than in the pictures. I stuffed them with herbed quinoa and they held their shape perfectly through baking. Got a solid 12 kilos off just four plants.

I was a bit skeptical about the yield claim, but each plant really did produce an incredible amount of fruit. The pink-and-yellow stripes make every salad look like a work of art.
