タマネギ 'エクリプス'

I’ve been growing these for two seasons now, and they form those nice round bulbs with a crisp, mild taste. The fact that they work as pearl onions in my shorter growing zone is a big plus.

Planted these in early spring and the long growing season paid off—by fall I had a steady supply of round, crisp bulbs that stayed mild even when I left them in the ground a bit longer. The mini onions were a pleasant surprise for pickling, too.

These bulbs have a really nice crisp texture and that mild flavor I was hoping for. I planted them in my southern garden and they sized up well even with our long, hot summers.
