Tomato '42 Days' (Organic)

We had a cool, wet spring but these little plants still gave us a bumper harvest of sweet cherry tomatoes. The 42-day maturity claim is legit, I picked the first ripe ones right on schedule. Perfect for a small patio pot.

I was skeptical about the 42-day promise, but sure enough, the first cherry tomatoes turned red right on schedule, even with our unpredictable coastal fog. The compact determinate vines stayed tidy in a half-barrel, and the fruit was noticeably sweeter than any store-bought cherry I’ve tried.

I'm in zone 4 and these cherry tomatoes are already showing fruit at 6 weeks. The compact determinate vines fit perfectly in a large pot on my deck.
