ひまわり『ゴッホの風景』

Got these started in a patch by the mailbox and the bees found them before the flowers even fully opened. The seventy-five day timeline was spot on, and the display really did stop neighbors for a chat. Definitely a cheerful, traffic-stopping bunch once they all bloomed together.

I've been watching these sunflowers grow for about 10 weeks now and they're just starting to burst into bright yellow blooms. The bees are absolutely flocking to them, just as the description promised. They're the perfect height for a mid-border display.

Planted these in a sunny patch by the fence and they shot up fast; by day 75 the whole row looked like a miniature sunflower forest. Neighbors actually stopped to ask what variety they were. The mid-height size made them sturdy enough to handle a few windy days without staking.
