カボチャ 'ルージュ・ヴィフ・デタンプ'

I've always wanted to grow a pumpkin that actually looks like a fairy tale, and this Rouge Vif D'Etampes is exactly that—the bright red skin is unreal. It's sprouting quickly in my garden, and I can't wait to see that traditional flattened shape come through.

The heirloom pedigree is what sold me, and these seeds sprouted true to type—the flat, deeply ribbed shape is exactly what you'd picture for a fairy-tale coach. I'm already planning next year's patch around this French classic.

The rich red color of the fruit when it ripened looked exactly like the pictures, and each pumpkin had that classic Cinderella shape. I'm thrilled with how well they grew in my garden.
