クロタネソウ 'ブルー'

The packet says 8 weeks to flowers, and they weren't kidding—mine started blooming right on schedule. The sky-blue color is exactly as described, with those delicate little collars around each bloom.

The collar of thin foliage around each sky-blue bloom is what sold me, and the fact they’re up and flowering in eight weeks feels almost too good to be true. They’ve spread into a soft, self-seeding patch that makes the whole bed look like it’s humming.

Planted these in a sunny corner and eight weeks later I've got delicate blue flowers floating above ferny foliage. The collar of thin green around each bloom is such a charming detail you don't notice in the packet photo.
