I’ve been growing this lettuce through a recent heatwave and it’s held up beautifully without turning bitter. The leaves have that buttery texture you want in a salad, and the colour is a rich, vibrant green. Definitely my go-to for warmer weather now.

These seeds germinated quickly, even during a late-spring heatwave, which I was worried about. The loose-leaf butterhead heads have a really delicate, buttery flavour that's perfect for salads. I'm already planning my next sowing.
