ナス 'アップルグリーン'

The first fruit I harvested looked just like a small green apple and had that mild, delicate flavor described. It's been a fun conversation starter in the kitchen and the plants are producing steadily.

Planted these seeds in early spring and the germination rate was excellent — nearly every one came up. The small round fruits have that mild flavor the description promises, which makes them perfect for stuffing whole.

The little round fruits really do look like green apples hanging on the plant, and the color stays bright even as they mature. The mild taste is perfect for someone who finds regular eggplant too bitter, and they cook up tender in about ten minutes.
