カリフォルニアポピー 'レッドチーフ'

I planted these next to my cosmos and zinneas and the contrast between the red poppies and the other colors is striking. The single fire engine red flowers really do stand up to the sun, keeping their shape even in the afternoon heat.

Planted these in a sunny spot next to some pink zinnias and the contrast is stunning. The single red flowers really do stand up straight and bright against the heat. Already seeing bees buzzing around them every afternoon.

The color is exactly that brilliant "fire engine red" described—they really pop against my zinnias. I love how the flowers face upward to catch the sun, and they've been blooming nonstop since early July.
