百日菊 'Lilliput Salmon'

The strong stems are a real bonus—these little salmon blooms stand up straight even after a good rain. I've been cutting them for small vases almost every other day.

Cut stems came back with a second flush almost immediately, and the button-sized salmon blooms are just ridiculously charming in a vase. Strong stems held up through a windy week without flopping, which I didn't expect from something so dainty-looking.

Planted these in a sunny patch and the strong stems held up perfectly through a couple of rainstorms. They’re already popping out new button-sized salmon blooms for the second cut this week.
