Planted this as a windbreak near the coast and it’s already thriving despite the salt spray. The glossy leaves stay green even through dry spells, and I’ve spotted small birds checking out the fruits.

The creamy-white flowers are already attracting more birds than I expected, and the glossy leaves look fantastic even in sandy soil. It’s handled the salt spray from our coastal winds perfectly, with zero leaf burn.

Planted it in a spot that gets hammered by salt spray and it hasn't missed a beat, the glossy leaves look great all year. The birds have already started checking out the little fruits, which is exactly what I wanted.
