Firm yellow flesh is exactly what I got when I cut into the first melon—superb flavor, just like the description promised. The vines were vigorous and the fruit held up well on the vine. Definitely a keeper for anyone wanting a taste of that 1950s heirloom quality.

I've never seen watermelon seeds germinate so quickly—these were sprouting within three days. The firm yellow flesh in the first melon was incredibly sweet and had that old-fashioned flavor I've been missing.

The yellow flesh was just as described—firm, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Three plants gave us a solid harvest all August.
