西瓜 '月亮與星星紅'

The leaves are as speckled as the fruit, which makes the whole plant a conversation starter in the garden. Germination was quick and the seedlings are looking robust so far.

I’d never seen a watermelon with such distinctly patterned leaves before, and now the fruits are starting to show their yellow speckles. The seeds germinated fast and the vines are looking really healthy so far.

I've never seen a watermelon like this — the yellow speckles on the dark green rind really look like stars. The vines are already covered in those spotted leaves Amy Goldman described. Can't wait to see if the fruit matches the hype.
