馬鞭草 '北極星'

The silvery-lilac blooms have been nonstop since I put these in along my south-facing wall, and the dry soil hasn't bothered them at all. Already starting to weave through the surrounding perennials just as described.

Planted this under a maple where grass won't grow, and the 'Polaris' is already weaving a dense mat that's choking out the weeds. The flowers are a soft, dusty lilac that catches the evening light beautifully.

The silvery-lilac blooms have been nonstop since I tucked it into a dry, sunny border, and it's already knitting together to choke out the weeds. It shrugged off a two-week heatwave without a single wilted leaf, which is more than I can say for some of my other ground covers.
