蕪菁 '白迷你'

The roots came out creamy white and crisp, just as the description promised, and they pulled up easily from loose soil. I planted them in early spring and they were ready to harvest before the heat set in, which made for a perfect first batch of pickled turnips.

These little turnip seeds sprouted within just a few days, and it's been so fun watching them grow. I'm already planning my next batch, knowing they have such a long history of cultivation behind them.

I was really impressed with how quickly these turnip seeds germinated, and the roots are already forming nicely after just a few weeks. It's fascinating to think I'm growing a crop that's been cultivated for 4000 years.
