紫錦草 '紫心'

Planted this in a hanging basket on my porch, and it's already spilling over the edges after just a few weeks. The purple leaves are such a rich, vibrant color, and I love that I don't have to fuss over it constantly since it's dry-tolerant.

I tucked three cuttings into a dry, rocky spot that nothing else would grow in, and they rooted like weeds within two weeks. The deep purple leaves really pop against the gray stone, and I haven't watered them once since that first soak.

My hanging basket was looking a bit bare, but this Purple Heart filled it out beautifully in just a few weeks. The leaves have a gorgeous deep purple color, and I love that it's dry-tolerant since I sometimes forget to water.
