These golden-streaked beauties roasted up into a sauce so thick and rich I barely needed to simmer it down. The plants were vigorous and easy to manage, even for a beginner like me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how meaty the flesh is—perfect for a thick sauce without much simmering. The golden streaks on the skin add a nice visual touch, too. Already planning to can a batch from my second harvest.
