It took a few days for the trusses to fully ripen, but once they did, the rich, complex sweetness was incredible. I’m already planning where to put more next season.

These little cherry tomatoes are surprisingly productive for such a compact plant. I love that they're an open-pollinated variety, so I can save seeds for next season. The dark blue-purple blush on the fruits when they ripen in full sun is just stunning.

The trusses looked almost too pretty to pick, but once I touched one, the skin gave just enough to know they were ready. The blue shading on the shoulders is a real conversation starter, and the open-pollinated lineage means I can save seed for next year without any fuss.
