I've been making pesto with these plants all season, and the flavor is just as rich as the basil I used in Italy last year. The seedlings were sturdy from the start, and I already have more than enough to freeze for winter pasta.

These seeds germinated incredibly fast, I had sprouts within just four days. The seedlings are already looking sturdy and healthy, I can’t wait to have enough leaves for a big batch of pesto to freeze for winter.

I started my first batch of pesto today and the leaves are already so fragrant and tender. The plants just kept producing all through July, even with my occasional neglect. Perfect for freezing extra batches for winter pasta.
