鼠尾草 '紫色'

The purple colour on the new leaves is even more vibrant than I expected, it really stands out against the grey-green mature foliage. I've already used a few leaves in cooking and the flavour is just as excellent as the look. This sage is a stunner in both the herb garden and the flower border.

Planted this in a sunny spot by the kitchen door and it’s already sending up those gorgeous purple new shoots. The color really pops against the grey-green older leaves, and I’ve been snipping a few sprigs for roasted chicken every week.

The leaves are so velvety and thick, and the purple on the new growth really stands out against the older grey-green. I've already used a few sprigs in the kitchen and the flavor is excellent.
