鼠尾草

I've been using this sage in my herb garden for a few weeks now, and it's already thriving in the border. The leaves are wonderfully thick and soft, and they add such a savory depth to my roasted chicken dishes.

I've been snipping leaves for my roast chicken all week and the plant just keeps growing back fuller. It's hardy enough that I don't need to fuss over it, which is exactly what I wanted for my kitchen herb patch.

The leaves are so thick and velvety, I keep touching them even when I'm just passing by the garden. Chopped a few into last night's roast chicken and the flavor was exactly the savory depth I was hoping for.
