金光菊 '甜錐花'

I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet, anise-like fragrance when I brushed past these in the garden. The cut flowers have held up beautifully in a vase for over a week already, which is exactly what I needed.

Picked a few stems for the kitchen counter and the whole room smells subtly of licorice. They're still perky after a full week, no drooping at all.

I've had mine in a vase for eight days now and the blooms still look fresh, which is way better than most cut flowers I've tried. The sweet anise smell fills the room whenever I walk by, making the whole kitchen feel nicer.
