Planted these a few weeks ago and they’re already sprouting with vigor. The netted skin on the fruit looks exactly like the classic rockmelon I remember from my grandfather’s garden.

I love that this is an heirloom variety with a real story behind it—Professor Meader's work in the 1960s is fascinating. The seeds arrived looking healthy and uniform, and I'm excited to see that classic netted skin on the melons.
