The blue flowers are even more vivid in person, and it’s already putting out new growth despite the heat wave we’ve been having. I pruned it back lightly a few weeks ago and it bounced back bushier than before.

The blue flowers are still popping three weeks in, even with temps in the 90s—the heat tolerance is no joke. Pruned it back once and it bounced back fuller within days, so the shape is easy to keep.

Planted this in a spot that gets afternoon heat, and it's already blooming like crazy after just two weeks. The fact that it tolerates dry conditions so well is a huge plus for my forgetful watering schedule.
