These violet-blue trumpets have been blooming non-stop since midsummer, and the spires add such elegant height to my border. I barely water them and they still look picture-perfect.

Planted these in May and the trumpet-shaped blooms have been nonstop ever since, even through a dry spell. The violet-blue color is exactly what my border needed.

The violet-blue spires are still putting out fresh blooms in late September, which is exactly the long-flowering show I hoped for when I tucked it into the border. It’s been completely hands-off since planting, just a quick deadhead now and then, and the contrast against the silver-leaved neighbors
