桃子 'Brigg's Red May'

Planted this as a bare-root whip last spring and it already put out a handful of those red-blushed peaches. The flesh was incredibly sweet and juicy for such an early-season variety. Definitely worth the wait for a piece of California history to fruit in my own yard.

The first fruit from this tree was incredible—so sweet and juicy, with that classic red blush showing it was ready to pick. Even as an early-season variety, the flavor is remarkably rich, not watery or tart like some early peaches I've tried.
