菊苣 'Sugar Loaf'

These leaves are incredibly tender and crisp right from the garden, perfect for fresh salads. I love that it's slow to bolt, giving me plenty of time to harvest before it gets bitter.

Tried a light sauté with the first harvest and the leaves held their texture beautifully without getting bitter. They're growing fast in my raised bed and already giving me enough for salads every few days.

I've been harvesting these leaves for weeks and they're still tender and sweet, not bitter at all. They held up beautifully in a light sauté last night.
