黃瓜 '日本攀爬' (有機)

I wasn’t expecting much from a seed packet, but these vines are already a metre tall on my trellis and the pick-more-they-produce thing is real. Managed fresh slices and two jars of pickles in one week—solid, crunchy flesh with that burpless mildness.

Trellised these against a sunny fence and they climbed like crazy, just as described. The more I harvested, the more little cukes popped out, and the flesh stayed crisp and burpless even when I let one get a bit big. Perfect for snacking straight off the vine.

The cucumbers have a really nice, mild flavor straight off the vine, and I love that they're burpless. I’ve been picking them every other day and the plants just keep pushing out more fruit.
