The kids have been measuring the cucumbers every day—the longest one hit 85cm before we picked it. Even at that size the flesh stayed crisp and not at all bitter, just like the description said. We’re already planning to save seeds for next year’s planting.

My kids were so excited when the first fruit passed the 60cm mark. We've been picking them at about 30cm as suggested and the flavor is incredibly refreshing, not bitter at all.

I'm amazed that the drier flesh actually keeps for a month in the fridge, so we're still eating these in September. The kids got a real kick out of measuring one that hit almost a yard long before we picked it.
