大波斯菊 '白色'

The flowers kept coming all the way through our long, hot summer, which was exactly what I wanted for the cottage bed. They paired beautifully with the salvias and hollyhocks, and the stems held up well in a vase.

I planted these seeds in early spring and the flowers started blooming by late October, just as described. The white petals really pop against salvias and sweet peas in my garden patch.

The packet said tough annual and it wasn't kidding—mine held strong through a proper Adelaide heatwave and still had blooms into February. I tucked them between the salvias and they gave the whole bed that soft, cottagey feel I was after.
