矢車菊 '矮性藍'

The silvery foliage is a beautiful contrast to those deep blue double blooms, and they've held up well in my cutting garden. I only planted a small patch, but it's already attracting so many compliments from neighbors.

Planted these in a cluster near my front gate, and the deep blue double flowers against that silvery foliage really pop. They're already filling about a meter of the space I reserved for them. Perfect for cutting—I've had a small vase of them on my desk for a week.

I sowed these in a patch of bare soil and the silvery foliage alone made it worth it before the flowers even appeared. The deep-blue doubles are stunning for cutting, and I've had fresh bouquets for weeks now. A whole 5m2 covered easily.
