Corn 'Breakthrough' F1

I planted these seeds in early spring and got tall, vigorous stalks by midsummer. The kernels were noticeably sweeter than my usual corn, and even after a week in the fridge, they still tasted fresh.

The sweetness really does last — I sampled one ear a full week after picking and it was still noticeably sugary. Great germination rate from the packet too, with almost every seed sprouting.

Harvested my first cobs yesterday and was amazed how sweet they were straight off the stalk—definitely lives up to the twice-as-sweet claim. Even after sitting in the fridge for a few days, the kernels stayed juicy and didn't lose their flavor.
