醉蝶花 'Pink Spider Flower'

The delicate purple blooms have held up beautifully through a hot, dry spell that killed off my other annuals. They’ve been in continuous flower for weeks now and the cat's whiskers name really fits once you see the long, spidery petals up close.

The bees have been absolutely swarming these since they started blooming — the flowers really do last for weeks on end. The stems are surprisingly sturdy too, standing tall even after a few rainstorms.

Planted these in a sunny spot and they're already producing those delicate pink and white whiskers. The bees have been working them nonstop for weeks now.
