韭菜 'Garlic'

I love how the mild garlic flavor comes through in stir fries without being too strong. The plants are also keeping the pests away from my tomatoes, which is a nice bonus.

These seeds germinated quickly and the strappy leaves have a lovely mild garlic kick that's perfect for tossing into stir fries. They've also been keeping the aphids off my beans as companion plants, which is a nice bonus.

Sowed these around my tomatoes last spring and the aphids noticeably backed off. The garlic kick in a stir fry is milder than regular chives but still comes through nicely.
