I planted this against a trellis in late spring, and the umbels of white flowers started appearing by mid-July. The sweet vanilla scent drifts across the whole patio in the evenings.

That first big cluster of flowers opened yesterday and the vanilla scent is absolutely incredible—it drifted across the whole patio. The blooms keep coming even as we head into September.

Planted this against a sunny fence and the umbels of white flowers are absolutely loaded this summer—the sweetness hits you from ten feet away. It’s still throwing new buds in early autumn, which is way more bloom time than I expected from a climber.
