銀葉矢車菊 '紫心'

Planted this in a spot that gets full afternoon sun and forgetful watering, and it’s thriving with no sign of stress. The woolly silver leaves are even more striking in person, adding great texture against my green shrubs. Perfect for a low-maintenance border.

I was a bit worried about how the silvery leaves would look in my garden, but they really pop against the green. Even after a surprise frost last week, the plants show no damage at all.

Planted a few of these last spring and they’ve already formed a lovely silver mound that contrasts beautifully with the petunias. The woolly leaves feel surprisingly soft and haven’t wilted at all during our dry spells.
