Planted these a few weeks back and already see the first true leaves emerging, much faster than I expected for a tree seed. The swollen trunk potential is exactly what drew me to this iconic species.

These seeds are surprisingly large for a tree that iconic, and they look perfectly viable. I’ve got them soaking now and can’t wait to see those handsome white flowers in a couple years.

I’m blown away by how quickly the seeds germinated—they sprouted in less than a week. The trunk’s already starting to swell a bit in its pot, just like the description says. Can’t wait to see those big shady leaves by summer.
