Eryngium '藍色海冬青'

Cut a few stems for a vase last week and they're still looking perfect—no drooping at all. The blue thimble heads really stand out against the softer coneflowers in the border.

I planted these in a spot that gets full afternoon sun and they're thriving while my other flowers wilt. The blue thimbles on those stems look fantastic next to the coneflowers, and they've been blooming for weeks now.

Three weeks after sowing, every single seed germinated even in my sandy soil. The blue thimbles are already forming on sturdy stems, and they look fantastic next to my coneflowers.
