The plant arrived healthy and well-packed, and I’m thrilled to finally have a live Amomum subulatum to grow instead of just buying the dried smoky pods.

I’ve been cooking with the dried pods from my plant, and the smoky aroma is exactly what my curry needed. The foliage is lush and surprisingly easy to maintain indoors.

Finally, a plant that actually produces those smoky black pods I’ve been reading about. The Amomum subulatum arrived healthy and well-packed, and I’m excited to watch it grow for my own cooking.
