豆子 '博洛蒂'

Those crimson pods are absolutely gorgeous on the vine, exactly like the description says. They dried beautifully and cooked up creamy, just the way I hoped for a proper bean stew.

I planted these in early June and was amazed at how quickly the vibrant crimson pods appeared. The dried beans have such a creamy texture when cooked, just perfect for soups.

These pods really do look like little flames, just as the name promises. The plants are vigorous and easy to grow, and shelling the beans feels like a connection to old Italian kitchen traditions.
