I’ve had mine for a couple months now and it’s already putting out new leaves even though we’ve had some chilly nights. The fruit is starting to form, too, which I wasn’t expecting until next year. Just made sure to cover it when frost was forecasted.

Planted mine in a spot that gets morning sun and afternoon shade, and it's already pushing out new leaves even though we've had some chilly nights. The heavy fruiting potential is what sold me, and so far the tree seems really vigorous.

The foliage is genuinely lush—it gave my patio that tropical vibe immediately, even though our summers are on the cool side. I’ve had it a few weeks and it’s already pushing out new growth, so I’m hopeful the heavy fruiting will follow once it’s settled.
