杏子 '崔瓦特'

Planted this 'Trevatt' in a sunny spot and it's already putting out strong new growth. The large, rounded fruit has that classic apricot sweetness I was hoping for, and being self-pollinating makes it perfect for my small backyard.

The fact that it ripens before ‘Moorpark’ is exactly why I grabbed it, and the large rounded fruit is living up to the description so far. It’s self-pollinating too, which is a relief since I only had room for the one tree. Can’t wait for this early-mid-season harvest to kick in.

I've already picked a few apricots off my young Trevatt tree this season, and the fruit is impressively large and full of flavor. It's really convenient that this variety ripens before Moorpark, giving me an earlier harvest.
