茴藿香 '甘草藍'

Planted these in early spring and the anise fragrance from the leaves is a lovely bonus every time I brush past them. The flower spikes have held their color for a solid three months now, which is more than I expected from a perennial seed packet.

The violet-blue spikes are still going strong three months after planting, and the licorice scent from the leaves is a lovely bonus. Definitely a standout in my garden.
